Celebrating God's Faithfulness
Dear church family
It's been a week of giving thanks for all that God is doing across our church family and reflecting on the faithfulness He has shown us through different seasons.
On Monday and Tuesday, we held our Kids Holiday club at our Ashford and Brabourne sites, and we give thanks to God for every child who came along and for the continued opportunity, to share His love with the next generation.
A huge thank you to all our amazing helpers who gave their time and energy, and to Matt and his team for all their hard work in making Holiday Club, happen. We are so grateful for everyone who serves so faithfully to create spaces where children can have fun, build friendships and encounter the love of Jesus.
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
Please continue to pray for the children and families who connect with us through these ministries, that the seeds being planted would take root and grow.
This week also marked the end of our Facebook prayers, which began seven years ago during COVID. What started as a way to stay connected, encourage one another and pray together during such an uncertain time has been a wonderful part of our church's life.
We want to give thanks to God for every person who joined us, every prayer shared, every burden carried and every testimony of His goodness along the way.
Although our regular Facebook prayer sessions have come to an end, our calling to pray for one another has not. We are still called to encourage each other, carry one another's burdens and bring one another before God in prayer. Let's continue to be a church that holds one another up, not just in organised prayer meetings, but in our everyday lives.
"Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:17–18
These two things remind us that while ministries and methods may change, our mission remains the same: to love God, love people and make Jesus known. Whether we are welcoming children into our buildings or quietly praying for someone in need, every act of service matters.
As we look ahead, let's keep sowing seeds of faith, keep praying for one another and keep trusting God for what He will do next.
All my love,
Kelly
