Give thanks to the Lord

Dear church family

What a joy it has been to see all that God has done this past weekend! For years, we have prayed, believed and held onto words spoken over Finberry – and now to see it become a reality is incredibly special. We are so thankful for a wonderful launch, with over 60 adults and 32 children gathering together. It truly felt like a moment of Gods goodness and faithfulness on display among us.

As a church, we want to pause and give thanks – recognising that every life touched, every conversation had, and every step forward is by his grace alone. 'Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever' Psalm 107v1.

We also have more to celebrate this coming weekend as we host a baptism Sunday at the Ashford site – this is a powerful reminder of new life in Jesus and his transforming grace at work among us. What a privilege it is to witness lives being changed and faith being declared!

As we celebrate, lets also continue to press in with prayer. As one church across three sites in this new season for the New Wells family, our prayers matter deeply. Let's pray for Finberry – that those who came would return, put down roots, and encounter Jesus personally. Let's pray for Ashford, especially for those taking steps of faith like baptism, that they would be strengthened and encouraged. And let's lift up Brabourne, to ask God to continue to build a strong spirit filled community there and for many more to come and know him.

Finally, lets pray for continued unity across our three sites, that we would remain one church with one heart and vision and that God will be at the centre of everything we do.

IMMERSE | THIS SUNDAY
Sunday 26th April | 7pm | New Wells Ashford
Immerse is our monthly evening service (which is always the last Sunday of the month) where we worship, listen to God and immerse ourselves in His presence. We want this space to be one that everyone can engage with no matter their age so please feel welcome to bring your children or little ones along. We will make sure to have space for them to be creative and comfy in the service, and if they want to come in their PJs, go for it!

PRESCHOOL OPEN DAY
Monday 18th May | 9:30am | New Wells Ashford
We are delighted to invite you to our Preschool Open Day on Monday 18th May, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Come along and explore our preschool, meet the team, and discover what we have to offer.
