Serving the Lord using the gifts he has given you

October 23rd, 2026

Dear church family

The bible emphasises serving God through wholehearted obedience, love for others, and working as if working directly for Christ!

Recently I celebrated 3 years at The Well Cafe, I believe that being in this role is exactly where I am meant to be.

I am close to the Lord, I am serving him with all my heart and he is working through me!
Psalm 40:8 I delight to do your will, my God.

I believe my gift from God is people skills, I have found my calling to serve him with a heart for people.

We all have gifts from the Lord, what is yours?

Romans 12:6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them!

Concentrate upon and give your energy to the gifts God has given you, celebrate them!

Recognise your natural talents, creative abilities or spiritual strengths & use what you do best to support, encourage and uplift people around you.

Let us outdo one another in showing love.

First, Discover your purpose through your relationship with God.

Then, Fulfil your purpose through faithful service.

Psalm 100:2 Serve the Lord with gladness!

I think about how I am so inspired by others in our church family and all the different ways they serve the Lord, whether it be with their time, energy, finances, prayers and more...

I hope I too can encourage others to think about how they can serve, joyfully!

Show your love for him.
Wish to be more like him.
Give & serve like him.

Let the light of the Lord shine through you.

Blessings
Elena

Thank you for being part of the journey — we're looking forward to what's ahead!
