Located at Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, New Wells Finberry is a brand-new church community launching this April. Our heart is simple: to create a space where everyone feels they belong and can encounter Jesus for themselves.

Pastors
Matt Wardley
Site Pastor
Matt joined the team as Children and Families Pastor at New Wells Ashford in August 2025, coming from a multi-site church in Leicester. Matt has a passion for discipling children to know God for themselves, equipping families and reaching local communities that don’t know Jesus yet. He has a degree in Practical theology with children’s and Families work.
Kelly Carolan (Boylan)
Site Pastor
Kelly has recently stepped into the role of Pastor after faithfully serving on the New Wells Leadership Team and as an Elder. Originally from Ireland, she will begin training in September as a Recognised Local Minister. Kelly is passionate about sharing God’s word and helping people discover who they are in God’s eyes — loved, called, and created with purpose.

Matt Woodhill
Core team
Matt has been a part of the New Wells family since 2019 and is passionate about growing disciples of Jesus who grow other disciples. He has a particular focus on discipling and mentoring young adults (18-30ish), and oversees the young adults team with his wife Tash. Matt is also a Trustee and a part of the Finberry leadership team, seeking to grow a new community living for Jesus in the Finberry area.
Tash Woodhill
Core team
Tash has been part of New Wells since 2019 and is passionate about welcoming people into the church community and helping them understand how deeply loved they are as children of God. She co-leads the young adults ministry alongside her husband, Matt, and together with their son Jacob, is excited to be part of growing the New Wells Finberry site and building a welcoming, Jesus-centred community.
