A HUGE-Thank you
Dear Church Family
Firstly, a huge thank you from me to all who attended my ordination last Saturday. I can't find the words to express how perfect the service was and the celebrations afterwards (including a fantastic cake from Harriet Ashford). We worshipped and celebrated together in style with a very special word from Zoltan Schwab, Old Testament lecturer from Spurgeon's College. He spoke on Job 28 about how we can be smart but never wise, as true wisdom comes from God and also about the privilege of being a Storm Chaser. I would also like to thank all of you who volunteered and prayed for the holiday clubs this week. We had such a fantastic time at all three venues with a total of 233 children and 110 adults who stayed to enjoy the fun and hear about how Jesus offers living water that never runs out. This was made possible by 40 volunteers who helped children with many craft activities including decorating biscuits, making a hook a fish game and bracelets. There was a bouncy castle, inflatable sumo wrestling, face painting, nerf target practice and of course our very own soft play bus (many thanks to Mike who drove it for us). We are so thankful to everyone who worked so wonderfully together to make this happen.

We are also so thankful to all of you who could not make it in person, but who faithfully prayed. We know that prayer is essential life support to all we do - please keep regularly praying for New Wells as we journey together on God's mission to expand His Kingdom in our small part of the world.

IMMERSE | This Sunday 6:30 for a 7pm start. This is our monthly gathering where we spend time immersing ourselves in the presence of God. It is a wonderful time of Spirit-led worship; there will be a short talk and space to hear from God and share anything God has placed on your heart.

Please join us for our monthly mid-week daytime gathering where we worship, pray and engage with a short talk. This gathering is perfect for anyone who is available on a weekday and timed to finish before the school run!
